Alight, ladies. I need your opinions here! I’m very particular about the nail polish I use and I seem to stick with two specific brands.
OPI: I loooove all of their colors and special collections. The names of their colors are fun, too. The only problem I have with them is that the polish seems to chip so quickly. Anyone else have that problem?? Also, a tip that I finally discovered- base coat is your friend!!
Essie: Seems to take longer to dry but doesn’t chip as quickly. That’s the problem I have with them. I love the not chipping as quickly aspect but the taking forever to dry aspect gets annoying. Take the good with the bad? Anyone experience this as well?

I personally love China Glaze! OPI is great, but I’ve never been a big fan of Essie – I find the brush to be too small for my tastes. Also, if you haven’t tried Seche Vite topcoat that can help your mani last longer! It also makes everything dry way faster.
Awesome! You’re right about Essie’s brush. & I will definitely try that top coat! I’ve tried OPI’s top coat before but it didn’t seem to help much. Thank you so much!
If you buy it on Amazon it’s only about $5. One word of warning though – it has pretty strong fumes! So if you have a sensitive nose you might want to use it outside. But many laqueristas swear by it!

I love Sephora’s OPI line because it is more affordable than regular OPI and they carry alot of sets with miniature polishes so you can try many different ones. As June said, Seche Vite topcoat is seriously nail perfection as far as topcoats go.
